Gifted identification is a multistep process used to identify K-12 students from various backgrounds who are eligible for service options through HCPS Programs for the Gifted. • The K-2 window will open on January 6-24, 2020.

Submit referrals in writing (email is acceptable) to the Gifted Resource Teacher, Lisa Koprowski, at and please cc the school Gifted Identification Coordinator, Corbin Franklin, at during the appropriate referral period.  Subject line of email should state Gifted Referral and the email should include student’s first and last name, school, grade level, teacher and area of referral (English, Math or Both English and Math).   An email confirmation will be sent by the following day.  If you do not receive an email confirmation, please call the school.
